Prisma Health Surgery–Trauma

Our acute care surgeons at Prisma Health Surgery perform trauma surgery, surgical critical care and emergency general surgery as an integral part of the Prisma Health Richland Hospital Trauma Center. We routinely care for patients admitted to the trauma service at all levels, including the surgical trauma intensive care unit, the surgical step-down unit, and the surgical/trauma ward. We also assist in the coverage of general surgery emergencies at Richland.
