Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Kroger,
I know this review is long, I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
The lady working in the Pharmacy named Theresa was extremely rude. I went in with my grandmother to pick up her prescription. It was 12:40 and Theresa said come back in 20 min and it will be ready. We walked around, did a little shopping, came back at 1 and everything was closed. I could see her behind the gate so I said “are y’all closed now?” And she said “closed for lunch, see the signs?” (Obviously annoyed). So I said well you told us to give you 20 min and you didn’t care to say that you’ll be closed in 20 minutes? She got all snappy and said read the signs
So basically we left and decided to come back later instead of waiting another 30 min.
When we came back and my grandma was picking up her prescription, I said “I don’t see the signs”. Not being rude, just honestly was thinking, I see how I totally missed this because the signs aren’t at the counter.
Theresa started to make a scene demonstrating where the signs are and I was like ok ok I hear you. Then she looked at my grandma and said “young people these day, so rude and no respect”
Right in front of me to my grandmother, who was also upset she had to come back.
Anyway Kroger pharmacy should probably do a little extra training in customer service. Or just being a good person in general. :)

Worst Pharmacy in town. These so called professionals gave me the wrong prescription and charged me twice as much. When I realized their error, I asked for a refund, at which time they proceeded to blame me for the mix up and refused to give me a refund.
The lady working there was very rude and cut off mid sentence. The head pharmacist was an absolute joke, I had to ultimately speak with the store manager in order to get a refund.
I spend about $150-$200 a week in groceries at this store, I’ll continue to do so as I do like the store. But it will be any other pharmacy in town moving forward.
