  I had my first appointment today. I have previous dental issues and we discussed treatment options. Very knowledgeable and professional. Asked me what I was comfortable with rather than just tell me. Starting my treatments next week so they got me in fast too! I've got to mention my hygienist Ashley, I believe. She was great with my cleaning and super smart when we were talking about my x-rays and pictures.

  I've moved around and been to many different dentist from Beaufort to Greenville to aiken. I have never been to a dentist office nearly as good as this. The dentist assistants are extremely nice and take their time to do everything without being rushed. The dentist are husband and wife and are just as nice as they can be. I've been twice and have yet to leave without laughing with the dentist. Highly recommend.

  I had the most wonderful experience here! Dr. Susannah Shirer was so kind and thoughtful when talking to me. The dental hygienist was also just as kind and gentle when cleaning my teeth. She also made the effort to explain everything to me so that I could understand what was happening and why.

  Hygienist Ariel is beyond phenomenal! Aside from being a wonderful human with strong interpersonal skills, she's knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and thorough; I could go on and on. Simply put, she's hands down the absolute best hygienist I've ever had! I'm a very complicated case with dysphasia (swallowing issues) of nearly 2yrs and very sensitive teeth/gum recession. She always handles me with the utmost care and professionalism. Ariel is not only your hygienist, she treats you as a loving friend would. She is gentle in spirit and also with her hands, gifted in active listening, and remarkably responsive/attentive. Ariel is hidden gem and I'm sure the Shirer practice is forever grateful to have her; as am I! Thank you Ariel for your amazing care!!

  If I could give a million stars, I would! I've been looking for a new dentist, and found Shirer Family on google. The reviews were really good, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The people here are amazing! The office atmosphere is welcoming, and comfortable. My wait time was less than 10 mins, and all of the staff are lovely. From the front desk, to the hygienist, right down to Dr. Shirer! You can tell when a company loves what they do and when they genuinely want to help people. I've been to dentists in the past, where I was judged and ridiculed. It made me pretty hesitant to go to the dentist in general. I've never had a good experience. But not only did Ariel do an amazing job on my cleaning (no pain at all BTW!!!) she was very kind and understanding. She even checked with me multiple times during my cleaning to make sure I was still good! Thanks again Shirer family, I look forward to my check ups 😊
