  I've had the privilege of working with Dr. Muallem for decades. He and his staff are excellent. I've seen several other practioners (including his incredible daughter!)in his absence and every single one I would happily see again with full confidence. This practice is uniquely responsive to your calls, visits and your concerns. You will leave the office feeling satisfied and confident that you were well cared for. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best wishes.

  Dr. Muallem is the best! He’s been my doctor for 32 years and delivered all 3 of my sons! They are now 32, 26, and 19! He has always been attentive and thorough and I could not have asked for better care from him and his team. They are very professional and make you feel like family. Dr. Muallem always asks about the boys and their lives. I love that I know when I schedule with him, he is the doctor I am seen by. He is absolutely one of the best doctors out there!!

  My wife has received her obstetric care with Dr. Muallem’s practice through two pregnancies, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care they have given our family. We welcomed our first child with Dr. Strieb and our second with Dr. Wu, and both experiences were outstanding from start to finish. What has impressed us most is that every physician in the practice has been incredible. Throughout both pregnancies, we had appointments with all four doctors, and each one took the time to answer questions, provide reassurance, and make us feel like we were their only patients. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine commitment to our family’s well-being were evident at every visit and extended to heartfelt after-hours calls and communications. Dr. Strieb and Dr. Wu both provided exceptional delivery experiences, and we always felt confident knowing that whoever was on call would provide outstanding care. The nurses and office staff are also friendly, organized, and welcoming, making every appointment a positive experience. Having now delivered two healthy babies with this practice, we can say without hesitation that they have gone above and beyond for our family. We are incredibly thankful for everything they have done and would recommend Drs. Nabil and Laila Muallem, Dr. Strieb, Dr. Wu, and their entire team to anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional obstetric care. They have been a blessing to our family, and we will always be grateful for the care they provided.

  I have been a patient of Dr. Muallem for about 30 years. He has brought my two children into this world and given them their first 'hug'. I recommend him with the highest praise. What I appreciate most about him is his attention to detail and care about his patients. He personally calls you to let you know the results of your tests right after they come out. He cares about each of his patients like they were his own family. I knew when I was having my child that he would be there for the baby and I and that I was in great hands. Now I only need the yearly gynecology exams and although no one enjoys these types of visits - he makes them as normal as he can. You first start by meeting with him fully dressed in his office so that you can have a real conversation with him. You then meet him a few minutes later in another room with a nurse beside him to do the quick exams. This way, you have already addressed any issues with him before you are in the exam room. Last point I want to say is that I admire Dr. Muallem and his practice for being independent. Most other doctors signed with a hospital. This causes patients to not know who will deliver their baby. I am so glad Muallem stayed independent. This way moms-to-be can be confident that their baby and they will be taken care of by their own obstetrician. So, if you are looking for a dedicated doctor, please pick him or one of his staff. I am sure he trained them in his philosophy.

  This review is for Dr. Wu, specifically. I went in as a first time patient for a pap, and discussed my interest in becoming pregnant at 39 years old. Without looking at any bloodwork or medical history, (this is our first appt after all), Dr. Wu, unprompted, said I would be gauranteed AT LEAST one of the following complications: little to no chance of conception, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, stillborn baby, higher chance of twins with one or both being stillborn, genetic abnormalities, birth defects, etc. I asked her if she was trying to dissuade me from becoming pregnant, to which she said "no, what gives you that idea?" I had to beg her to provide ANY example of an advanced maternal aged pregnancy that resulted in a healthy baby. She said she had seen plenty of these cases. I can't understand why she spent the first half of the appointment trying to scare me out of attempting pregnancy if she sees plenty of healthy pregnancies at my age? When it came to my actual pap, she went ahead with the speculum with no warning that she was about to touch me or insert it. She was unnecessarily rough, as if she were mad at me for the conversation we had just had. In addition to her scare tactics and rough handling, she also gave me information about becoming pregnant on the medication I'm taking that directly conflicted with the advice I was given by my prescribing doctor. She was very rude when I explained to her that my prescribing doctor had told me otherwise. She even went as far as chasing me into the waiting room while I was checking out, addressing me as "Stacey" (I'm Stephanie), and named my medication in front of the other patients in the waiting room, and told me I needed to be off said medication for at least 2 months before becoming pregnant. I followed up with my prescribing doctor who still refutes this. Anyway, two weeks later, I found out I had already become pregnant during the time of this appointment. I will be seeking OB care elsewhere. If you are looking for a doctor with zero bedside manner, who is highly judgemental (particularly if you are over 35), go ahead and see Dr. Wu. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of 1 star is because I haven't had a chance to meet the other doctors at this office, who are probably all MUCH better than Dr. Wu.
