  Dr. Nabil Muallem and everyone who works at his practice are caring individuals who always put patient care first. They are always attentive and helpful. I have been a patient there for 21 years and have had 3 pregnancies and 4 children (ended with twins). My prenatal care, deliveries and postpartum care were exceptional. When you call the office for any reason you get to speak to someone immediately and that level of personal care is the standard. Doctors call you directly with test results and personally return your calls. The office runs efficiently so you get seen at your appointment time and not an hour later. Truly they are an amazing staff and I highly recommend them.

  Dr. Muallem has been my ob/gyn for more than 35 years. I switched to his practice because, at such a special time as pregnancy, I wanted everyone to be friendly. First nurse at first appointment in Dr. Muallem's office walked in and immediately said "Hi! I'm xxx'. Bingo! He has delivered 4/5 children and I don't plan to go anywhere else. They are the ONLY practice in Berks County where you know who your ob doctor will be at delivery (you will have met all the staff). Dr. Muallem is the fastest MD to call with test results I have ever known! You can't go wrong here.

  I have been a patient of Dr. N. Muallem for 34 years. Dr. Muallem is truly exceptional at what he does. His ability to relate to me on a personal level is extraordinary. He takes the time to listen, understand my needs, and make me feel comfortable and respected. I will continue to be a patient of Dr. Muallem as long as he is in practice.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Nabil Muallum has been my OB/GYN for over 30 years, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his entire staff. He personally delivered all three of my children, and more than 27 years later, he still remembers them, asks about them, and genuinely wants to know how they are doing. That kind of connection and caring is incredibly special. Dr. Muallum and his staff don’t just treat you as a patient they care for you as a whole person. They understand that emotional well-being is just as important as physical health, and they consistently provide care with compassion, kindness, patience, and respect. Every member of the staff is genuine, knowledgeable, welcoming, and caring. You always feel that they are there for you and that they truly care about what you are going through. Dr. Muallum is the kind of doctor everyone hopes to find, the kind you trust completely and actually don’t mind going to see! After more than three decades under his care, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found him. The compassion and dedication of Dr. Muallum and his entire staff are truly beyond compare. I would recommend this practice without hesitation.

  TW; sexual assault Dr Muallem did my hysterectomy in 2018 after a lot of arguing and pushing. He kept telling me to think of my potential future husband and how many hypothetical kids this hypothetical husband would want from me to try and convince me not to have the hysterectomy. I finally convinced him to do it, and a week post surgery was having intense bleeding complications to the point of my lips turning a bit blue (overflowing an overnight pad within an hour of putting it on, sometimes within 30 minutes). I came in for an emergency appointment and was met with judgement and scorn, with Muallem convinced I was having sex “without his permission”, though I repeatedly told him I wasn’t dating anyone and hadn’t had sex in over a year before my surgery, as well as not masturbating since the surgery (even if I had wanted to, I was in a lot of pain post-hysterectomy to the point of having breathing issues, and had no pain relief). I convinced him to do a physical exam. During that physical exam, he stuck his fingers inside of me (maybe as part of the exam, maybe not, what came next was what definitely made it SA) and repeatedly told me to “think of your boyfriend, pretend I’m your boyfriend” as I laid there crying telling him it hurt. I again told him I didn’t have a boyfriend, but he continued telling me to think of this imaginary boyfriend and pretend he was the imaginary boyfriend. After the exam, he told me he saw blood and clots but couldn’t find the source of bleeding, so I was “probably” fine and I just needed to “stop having sex without his permission”. I left crying and just ignored the continuous bleeding that after a few more weeks turned into thick fist-sized clots, then eventually smaller clots, until it finally stopped a couple months later. Found out ~6 months after this when I went to a different gyno that there was massive thick scarring on my cuff (what replaced my cervix) and this was likely the cause of my intense bleeding and giant clots. She was able to burn away the scarring (ouch, still no pain relief) but still to this day in 2026 PIV intercourse can be painful. It’s only this past year after admitting what happened to a therapist that I’ve been able to talk about this with others. Muallem should not be a gynecologist.
