Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is northeastern Pennsylvania’s most complete acute-care hospital. A referral center for lifesaving care, the hospital is a Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Heart Attack Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. It houses a 24-hour emergency room, and the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. Home to the Frank M. Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital and Medical Office Building for outpatient specialty care, Geisinger Wyoming Valley offers treatment of complex medical conditions, surgical intervention and critical care. The hospital is expanding to add inpatient capacity and grow capability in surgical, emergency, trauma, critical and cardiovascular care.
