Seriously—go somewhere else.
In such a crowded med spa market, you’d expect a business to at least meet the standard set by other local providers. Unfortunately, my experience with Revivea was one red flag after another.
I signed up for an advertised special, not realizing I had to pay upfront just to book the appointment Red Flag #1
I was assured it was simply a deposit that would be applied toward the treatment, so I proceeded.
Before the appointment, I received multiple text confirmations and a voicemail stating that the Nurse Practitioner would call in advance to review my medical history. That call never happened.
When I arrived, the staff asked if the nurse had contacted me. Since she hadn’t, they called her and put me on speakerphone in the lobby to discuss my medical history—with absolutely no privacy. Red flag #2
After reviewing my history, the NP had concerns and said she needed to consult her supervisor. While I was waiting, I was taken back to prepare for treatment, only to receive another speakerphone call—again with no privacy—informing me that I would need medical clearance before proceeding.
I understood the need for caution, but this should have been handled before I arrived. I had received similar treatments elsewhere without issue, and this entire visit could have been avoided with proper communication.
I asked for a form or at least information about the treatment so my doctor could provide informed consent. I was told it would be emailed to me. Nothing arrived Red Flag #3
A week later, I followed up and was sent a link to my medical history form, which had nothing to do with obtaining clearance. I was again promised an email. Still nothing Red flag #4
After waiting several more days, I researched the treatment myself and contacted my doctor through the patient portal. My doctor provided a clearance letter, which I forwarded to Revivea. I received no response. After following up again, I was told they had received it, but it wasn’t acceptable because it wasn’t on letterhead or hand-signed. Once again, I was told they would email me the requirements. Once again, nothing was sent Red Flag #5
By this point, weeks had passed, and despite repeatedly asking for guidance or a simple form, I received no useful information. I finally requested a refund because enough was enough. I was also offended by the implication that I had somehow fabricated my doctor’s letter.
Four days later, when no refund had been processed, I followed up and was told it would take another 2–3 weeks Red Flag #6
Poor communication, lack of privacy, repeated failures to follow through, and a complete disregard for my time made this one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had.
Seriously go to any of the dozens of established reputable Med Spas in the area
