  If I could give less than one star I would! My sister took our mom to this location and while we were very unsure about the hearing aids due to my mom’s view about wearing them, we were assured that there is a return policy of 30 days, no questions asked, so we figured let’s try them. The contract was written up, which took some time, and my mom was willing to try them. We realized right away she hated them but still tried to convince her to wear them, after about two weeks we figured this isn’t working and called to return them. We were told that “she didn’t give them long enough” and to “keep trying”. Another few days and we knew it was a lost cause. We got everything together and took them back, they took them and when we asked for a receipt that showed the return we were told “it doesn’t work like that, when we do the return you will get confirmation”. With over $6k spent I’m not sure how many people are satisfied with handing something over and just walking away. We asked for anything showing the return. We were told “I spent a lot of time with your mother and don’t appreciate the suggestion that I’m trying to keep your money”. We said we are not suggesting anything we would just like a receipt or acknowledgment of the return. After hand writing a note that the hearing aids were returned we were told “I really hope she doesn’t lose her hearing and get dementia, that would really suck”. The eating and chewing while on the phone from The receptionist seemed like enough to deal with but that comment confirmed the unprofessional attitude of the staff this location. I’m not sure if all of the Miracle Ear locations are the same or if the problem was loss of sales commission but make sure your loved ones need the hearing aids and will wear them because the “no hassle 30 day return” seemed like it could be a hassle for someone not willing to speak up for that to actually be a “no hassle” return.
