Services

Our clinicians are available to provide a comprehensive range of outpatient mental health services including, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy, co-parenting coaching, and art therapy, as well as psychological testing and evaluation. We are here to help individuals, couples, and families to make positive changes through evaluation, consultation, education, and psychotherapy.

This type of treatment involves a psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis of the mental health condition in order to assess the treatment plan needed. Medication management involves ongoing assessments of the patient's progress, side effects, and need for modification of medication regimens which occur on a regular basis. We have a board-certified child and general psychiatrist as well as a Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner available to provide these services.

This type of treatment is used if an individual or family is in crisis or has special needs. This treatment is usually recommended for a patient with personality disorders, relationship dysfunction, or adjustment difficulties due to life stressors. Individual therapy may involve using behavioral, cognitive, supportive, or dynamic therapies, and the length of treatment may differ depending on the treatment type recommended and the patient’s ability to develop insight and/or make behavioral changes.

This type of treatment can be used along with individual therapy if there are difficulties in a primary relationship. It can also be used if the identified patient’s psychiatric disorder is adversely affecting the relationship.

Family Therapy

This type of treatment may also be used in conjunction with individual treatment or maybe the only treatment recommended. Family therapy is used when the patient is experiencing difficulties functioning within the family, or when family members need assistance or training in learning to live with a patient who has a psychiatric disorder.

Medical Marijuana Certification and Recertification

At Summit, we have a medical doctor available that is able to provide the certification needed to individuals who suffer from a qualifying medical condition.

We have clinicians available to perform various types of evaluations including Act 235 evaluations, Act 120 evaluations, SAP evaluations, and disability evaluations.

We have clinicians available to perform psychological testing and assessments such as intelligence testing, personality testing, neuropsychological testing, aptitude, vocational and other tests.
