Dr. Raleigh is a great doctor. He noticed that one of my eyes needed minor eye surgery because of my cataract surgery. My regular ophthalmologist never even noticed that, even after doing several tests.

Doctor was very good to work with. He addressed all my issues. No fluff and stuff. Everything was to the point but I felt very confident with his assessment of my eyes. I would go here again.

This is the Dr. In South Hills Village in Lens Crafters. I've been going there for a few years. Dr. Raleigh is very professional and thorough. The office manager was very kind to give me a set of contacts when I was waiting for the new ones to arrive and were back ordered. Would recommend to anyone.

Be aware that if you are 10 minutes or more late to the appointment, your appointment will be automatically cancelled. This policy does not appear in writing anywhere I can find--not in the appointment confirmation emails, nor on the website. It was just verbally given to me by the receptionist when I arrived late, so I was SOL and couldn't have my appointment. I tried to call ahead to let them know I was running late, but nobody answered the phone. Wish I had known about this policy before I wasted the gas; it's pricey these days. Also, I've been here a couple of times before (on time, lol). Dr. Raleigh has a bit of an ego but the eye exam was always solid. It is obvious that they are trying to upsell you or sell you the brands they carry. I've worn the same contact brand for 23 years but they tried to get me to switch. The prices on the eyewear are also not very good--mostly designer frames sold at a premium. Shop around and you'll certainly find a better price. The guy who helps fit the frames was always very nice and helpful, though, and gave me my pupillary distance so I could easily buy glasses elsewhere. Anyway, I'm not going here anymore. I was ambivalent about the service until the poor communication/inflexible late policy pushed me to "nevermind, this place isn't worth it." YMMV

Frequently Asked Questions About Raleigh EyeCare

Why should I get an eye exam?

What is involved in an eye exam?

An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
