If they had a negative one, that’s what I would be giving Jesse Mantel. He was rude and he gave me the wrong prescription for eyeglasses and contacts. I went back to him and said, I cannot see out of my contacts and his response to me was, you’re wearing a lense that’s a dinosaur, meaning prehistoric. You need to get a different brand of contact Lenses. He would not do anything for me. So, I went to eye Gallery in McMurray and had a completely different prescription for contacts and glasses. I would say to anybody reading these review’s, BEWARE and don’t waste your money. If anybody is prehistoric, he is, in the way that he test people’s eyes. He needs to find another profession.

Dr. Mantel was rude and basically rushed me through the eye exam. He told me to get progressive glasses but I wasnt sure what those were and how those would work for me and he got attitude and said I'll just write the scrip down and you decide when you go out front. He was not helpful and was the worst experience I ever had at a eye doctors office. The people who handle the glasses were nice but only offered help if asked. I will not be returning to this place ever again. And it was recommended by a family member and it had good reviews is why I chose it.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
