  I have been a patient at this location since 2021, when it operated as Main Line Audiology. I returned 7/13 for a hearing eval and to explore new hearing aids. During my appt. the audiologist stated she had contacted my COMMERCIAL Insurance (UnitedHealthCare) and confirmed 90% coverage. She provided me with a specific reference number connected with UHC contact and presented me with two purchase options based on that claimed coverage. When I called UHC directly to verify, the rep could not locate the reference number in their system and described what had occurred as "poor business practice". UHC advised me to wait 3-5 business days for them to research my actual coverage prior to making any purchase- information I was never given by the audiologist. I returned the following day to retrieve my test report. It was dated incorrectly and corrected after I pointed out the incorrect date. When I requested additional test results, I was told the audiologist was unavailable. I subsequently contacted AudioNova's district manager who acknowled that additioanl insurance training was needed and committed to investigating the reference number. Eight days later her follow up email provided no definitive findings. I have chosen to seek care elsewhere (after checking with UHC regarding contracted providers). I share this experience so that other patients using commercial insurance can be informed and verify their own coverage independently before making any purchase decisions.

  Came in thinking everyone around me was mumbling. Turns out they weren't—my ears were just on vacation. I kid. My hearing sucks. This isn't my first visit here, and it won't be my last. I love this office and the wonderful staff! Now I tell Dr. Harrington to stop yelling and he assures me he's just whispering - MAGIC! Thanks everyone. Sincerely, Douglas B. Black. P.S.   I've been coming to AudioNova for 1.5 years. It was previously Main Line Audiology. The transition from Main Line to AudioNova was smooth. I came to Main Line 3 years ago. AudioNova have caring and competent audiologist and staff. I have special hearing aids where sound from the left is transmitted to the right hearing aid. Their services and prices are competitive and they have a large selection of mid to high end manufacturers to choose from. Beware of Costco, the technicians are not audiologist. My hearing test from Costco was significantly different than the one given by an audiologist. Also, Costco could not help me with the special hearing aid I was prescribed.
