Our teen needed her wisdom teeth to be extracted. We had an excellent experience with Dr. Chambers and his team from the consultation to surgery and follow up. They made her feel comfortable and answered all our questions with kindness and professionalism. We are very grateful!

I had a dental emergency and was referred by a regular dentist. I called Monday afternoon and was seen by Dr. Iverson at 8:30 the next morning. All personnel were proficient and professional, as well as, pleasant and respectful. I developed a minor complication and the staff were extremely attentive to my needs. They got me in for a re-check quickly; I was seen by the same doctor, and he adjusted my treatment plan. I have had previous oral surgeries. My visits to Conestoga Oral Surgery have been the best and the least painful by far. I've never given a 5-star review before!

Had a tooth extracted, bone graft, and implant done here. The evening of the extraction and bone graft a bunch of white stuff fell out of where the graft was placed. I called them the next morning and they had me come in. The doctor assured me that it was normal and everything was fine. 6 months later I go back to have the implant installed. That was done but the doctor then checked the bone density and said it wasn’t good enough. Go back a month later and nothing improvement so they remove the implant. Upon removing the implant the doctor told me to call billing so they can refund me a percentage of the implant cost as well as refund my insurance. This all sucked but I figured everything doesn’t always go as planned and I just happen to be unlucky here. Go back to my dentist to have a bridge done but my insurance denied the claim. I called my insurance to find out why it was denied and was told because of the frequency. They called conestoga oral surgery to see if they would remove the claim so that they could approve me for the bridge but conestoga declined. It turns out that conestoga oral surgery decided to code it as a warranty thing therefore they don’t have to reimburse my insurance or remove the claim. I will not be eligible to be approved for the bridge for 5 years! To me it feels like both conestoga oral surgery and Aetna are trying to save a couple thousand dollars meanwhile I’m down a tooth, between $1k-$2k for the extraction, bone graft, and implant, and if I wanted to have the bridge done before 5 years it will cost around $6k. I’m sure there’s some silly laws that make this normal but it certainly feels scammy and deceiving by both conestoga and Aetna. Also worth noting that every appointment felt rushed and lacking any real explaining of the procedures or potential complications.

While Dr. Heise and the clinical team performed my son’s wisdom teeth removal smoothly, the administrative experience left a great deal to be desired. The front desk staff lacked basic communication and organization. On the day of the procedure, another waiting family member was left confused about the timeline, only to discover the surgery had already begun without their knowledge. Furthermore, when I called a week post-op with a recovery concern, the response was dismissive. I was told it 'probably wasn’t related' and was quickly directed to his primary care provider instead of receiving a thorough follow-up from the surgical practice. While the medical procedure went well, the lack of thoroughness and communication from the support staff significantly detracted from our overall experience.
