  Decided to switch my Rx over to here from Walmart after seeing on GoodRx that it could be almost 50% cheaper. Transfers can be done on the Giant pharmacy app. I was not provided an update when my script was transferred so I called in and they said it was ready. I was also able to enroll in text updates. Perhaps I missed something when setting up the initial transfer, but it would be helpful to have an option for customers to sign up for text updates with a pending transfer and updates in general from Giant Pharmacy regarding their script/s without having to call in. Nonetheless, I picked up my prescription without even presenting the GoodRx code and got an additional couple dollars off (a community cares discount was automatically applied without asking). This made the total price 50% off what I was paying before for the exact same medication, dose, and quantity. The staff were polite, informative, and efficient with completing my order. No hassle.

  I am very happy with Giant Pharmacy in Havertown! The pharmacists and staff are always very helpful, there is not usually a line for pick up, and it’s very convenient when I do my grocery shopping!

  Last night my sister and I went to this store although I normally go to the one in Lansdowne. I now regrets my decision and will not return. At the self checkout my sister removed one of the bags and the register signaled for help. It took for three registers to do the same and for me to call out a few times before someone coming and clearing it for us. She immediately returned to what she was doing which was her phone. Three of them were at the exit on their phone laughing at something that was more important than the actual customer. After paying we had to move around them because they were almost blocking the way. I am so disappointed because this is my favorite store and now I wonder what time of training are they providing their employees. 😟
