As a new patient here I was in pain and nervous but appointment was available within 24 hrs. Which I greatly appreciated and felt immediately at ease because Dr Kaylan listened to me. She was excellent and very professional explaining everything to me including x-rays. Receptionist was friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this office to anyone.

What an amazing place!! I took my elderly mother there who was so nervous about the condition of her feet. From the front desk to the doctor to billing, they made everything so comfortable for her. I’m forever grateful.

I came to this office a few months ago and saw Dr. Bresnahan for an ingrown toenail. I thought he had good bedside manner the first time I saw him. He looked at my toe but felt I had already clipped away any part of the nail that was ingrown. My surrounding skin by the toe was red and there was some swelling so he sent me with antibiotics to take for a week. About two weeks later, after finishing the antibiotics, the redness was no better and I still had significant pain that was affecting my ability to walk and I could barely get through a day of work. I went back to see Dr. Bresnahan and he again insisted there was no ingrown and the redness was to be expected. His response to my concern was "this isn't the most difficult condition I treat". Which is understandable, but if someone is coming back and telling you they can barely walk and have significant pain, maybe do some further investigating?
I made an appointment with another podiatrist and he immediately thought the redness was still concerning and that the remaining nail needed to be removed. It was extremely painful, but I felt instant relief once the nail was off. It was definitely ingrown and had a sharp edge that was causing so much discomfort. The second doctor gave me another course of antibiotics for the continued redness and when I followed up again in two weeks, he ordered an MRI which showed osteomyelitis.
As a healthcare provider myself, I'm just very disappointed that my concerns were not addressed with Dr. Bresnahan and I had to go through so much discomfort. I ended up needing to see an infectious disease specialist and was on an extended course of antibiotics.
Just remember to always advocate for yourself. You know your body and you know when something is not right.
