I really wanted to like this studio, but my experience was disappointing. When I signed up, I was told there would be plenty of class options, but it was nearly impossible to book a class. They also went weeks without a front desk employee, so I wasn’t signed into classes I attended. Communication was poor, and while the instructors were fine, the overall atmosphere wasn’t very engaging. My biggest issue was with canceling my membership. I was told there was only a three-month minimum and that I could cancel afterward. On May 5, before my three months ended on May 28, I asked to cancel so May would be my last payment. I was then told I needed to give 30 days’ notice—something that was never explained when I signed up. Because of that, I was forced to pay for another month. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever contacted me. I returned on May 19 to make sure my membership would be canceled after my June 28 payment. The front desk employee assured me that as long as I completed the cancellation form, my membership would be canceled. I filled out the form, believing everything was taken care of. Yet on July 28, they attempted to charge my card twice. I am still trying to get them to cancel my membership. Despite making multiple attempts to cancel and following every instruction they gave me, there always seems to be another issue. At this point, it feels like they’re doing everything they can to keep charging me instead of honoring my cancellation request.

I do not recommend this location at all. When I enrolled, there was a promotion going on, and a friend and I signed up together. Before purchasing, I specifically asked about class times, scheduling flexibility, and how students advance through the different levels. I was told there would be many class options available, which has not been true, especially for people who work full-time Monday through Friday. I was also told that after completing five classes, including the introductory class, I could move up to Level 1.5, which offers more options for class days and times. However, after I had already enrolled, I was informed that the requirement was actually 8–10 Level 1 classes before advancing. Another frustrating experience was the attitude I received when I raised concerns about the lack of accurate information. I asked all the right questions before signing up because these details were important to me. Instead of acknowledging the misinformation, I was made to feel like I had misunderstood, which was not the case. Additionally, they provide only a very short window to cancel classes before you lose your credits. I feel I was misinformed about both the class availability and advancement requirements. I would not recommend this program, especially if you have a full-time work schedule and need flexibility.

I started Pilates at Frazer location in September 2023. The location is great, the hours worked out well for me, and the instructors were experienced. The freezing of the membership (for those of us who travel a lot this is critical) was easy, without penalty. The new owner is a corporation, and their rules are not customer friendly- ex, $35 freezing fee, minimum 30 days notice, and you cannot freeze it for longer than a month, etc. Even if you follow their rules, they do not respond promptly, and you have to triple check whether the request was received, approved, and recorded in the system. On top of the management issues, they have very few experienced instructors. Today it was an especially stressful session - loud music, instructor screaming/yelling the cues to cover the music, talking non-stop around the instructions, bright led lights above the reformer…. My stress levels went straight up, walked out with a headache. Granted, this is not the case with every instructor. Yesterday, i had two back to back sessions (to avoid freezing or loss of my credits) and those were great - she turned off the bright led lights that were burning our eyes, she played soft instrumental music, spoke with a normal voice, calm, clear instructions, perfectly timed, focused her talk on the cues, without unnecessary filler words of praise. Let people quiet their minds, provide clear instructions in a calming environment, and use classic routines.

I’m extremely disappointed with the communication and management at this Club Pilates location. Members pay a premium price for a membership here, yet it’s nearly impossible to get assistance. The front desk is almost never staffed, which makes it very difficult to ask questions or get help with anything related to your account. At one point the studio even sent an email saying they were hiring for front desk help. I responded expressing interest and never received a response — which unfortunately seems consistent with the level of communication they provide. Trying to cancel my membership has been an even bigger headache. I called on March 1st to cancel, but no one answered (not surprising given the lack of front desk staff), and their voicemail mailbox was full so I couldn’t even leave a message. I then called another location for guidance and was told to send both a text and an email to the Frazer studio. The following night around 7:30 PM I finally received a call about my cancellation request. I was told that because of their 30-day notice policy, my cancellation would take effect April 1st, meaning I would need to pay for another month. However, I contacted them on March 1st, and 30 days from that date would make my final day March 31st. During that call I asked if the manager could contact me to discuss the situation. I was assured that they would reach out. A day passed with no response. Then another. Then a third. I followed up again via text mentioning that I had been told I would receive both a cancellation email and a call from the manager, and neither had happened. The Whiteland location even sent a reminder to the Frazer GM to contact me, yet the only response I received was a generic cancellation email stating that I will still be billed again in April. It’s extremely frustrating to deal with such poor communication, especially when members are paying a premium for this service. The lack of responsiveness from management and the inability to reach someone at the studio makes what should be a simple process unnecessarily difficult.

The instructors are absolutely fantastic. Especially Ruby and Meghan. I have been going to this location for over 3 years now and can’t recommend it enough! They really do care about individual needs even though it’s a group class. Love the reformer classes.
