  This has been a review about 6 months in the making. The only reason this isn't the most scathing 1 star review I could make, and I mean the ONLY reason, is that Dr. Chessario is an amazing optometrist and makes a huge effort to make the visit enjoyable, professional, and efficient. I, however, cannot say the same for the front of house. When I first received my glasses back in February, there were two problems immediately present. Firstly, when bending my frames to fit better around my ears, the lady behind the desk must not have heated the ends of the ear stems up enough, because the vinyl at the end tore at the bend point. Secondly, I found that the left lens was loose/ill fitting in my frames. They squeaked, the lens occasionally shifted inside of the frames, and it had a propensity to falling out of my glasses altogether. I voiced my concerns to the front on 3 separate occasions and was met with the same answer. The girl would take my glasses, tighten a screw (to the point of eventually stripping out the threads) and send me on my way. No amount of "This lens is misshapen and does not fit right" fell on an ear willing to listen. Eventually, I was forced to transfer my lens to an old set of frames (of the same design) due to the threads being stripped out of the new frames, and the issue with that lens persisted. As of 2 weeks ago at the time of typing this review, the lens dislodged itself from my frames, fell to the ground at work, and the front surface was near totally destroyed. Frustrated with the service I experienced before, I called and requested my prescription be emailed to me. "Our email system is down." I heard this same excuse every time I called for the next week, then left it alone for a week. Today, I called, got the same excuse, voiced my frustration with it being down for 2 entire weeks, and suddenly there was a miracle loophole to get me my prescription information then and there. Unbelievably poor service, 6 months of dealing with a flawed lens, and 2 weeks of an astonishing headache between supposed IT issues at their store, and my own having to revert back to an old pair of glasses for the time being.

  In Erie for work, I broke a leg off my glasses that I got from somewhere else. This place was able to repair my glasses in no time when other places wouldn’t help. Steph was wonderful and very helpful!

  This is the best place from eye doctor from the front door to the eye doctor Stephanie and Aqsa helped me pick out glasses Stephanie is so awesome she helped me pick out glasses- the girls in the back doctors office Maya she helped me she is so awesome! I recommend this place best Eye place in Erie and not too expensive

  Aqsa was absolutely amazing! She made the whole process of picking out glasses so easy and stress-free. Her customer service was outstanding, and she was incredibly helpful and patient while helping me find the right pair. I left feeling confident in my choice thanks to her help. Highly recommend!
