This is not my home gym - I'm visiting (use a Destination membership). I've taken 4 classes (of my 145 total) and my instructors have been Kimberly C., Lisa V., and Suzanne C. They're friendly, very welcoming, and put together fun and interesting classes. I learned a lot more about the corset and working the back muscles, did some interesting and difficult arm moves as well as things on a TRX I've never done before. Other participants are around 40s - 50s crowd - mostly women but I know some men do the classes as well. Nobody was mean or snobby. The music wasn't drowning out the instruction. They corrected my form which I really appreciate and gave me encouraging looks/words when I needed them. The instruction was cued very well. Only downside is that booking a class is hard - things fill up fast - a testament to their popularity. However, the waitlist worked for me this morning even though I was #3. I think they try their best to get people in because there's literally a class every hour since 6:30am. A gym is only as good as their instructors and so far - excellent.

Love everything, but the fact you can't transfer unused classes to the next month:)

Classes are great and I love that they run the schedule basically all day. My biggest complaints are that (1) they don’t sell class packs and (2) you can’t book classes until your billing cycle renews. So if you have 8 classes a month, they get clustered in the second half of the cycle because classes book up so fast. They’ll say that they can usually get you in, but when there are six people on the waitlist ahead of you it’s unlikely — or you’ll find out like the night before when people cancel. Anyway, if you’re flexible, then you’ll probably make it work. But if you’re limited with when you can take classes or need to be able to plan your week (eg a full-time working parent), you might be frustrated with the uncertainty.

Group exercise classes always intimidated me, but I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try my very first Pilates class at Club Pilates in Doylestown—and I’m so glad I did! The studio is amazing: always clean, bright, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The instructors are incredibly kind, supportive, and knowledgeable, making it easy to feel comfortable no matter your experience level. The members are fantastic too, creating a friendly and encouraging community. For the first time, I’ve found something that’s truly for me—something I genuinely look forward to and enjoy. I haven’t even finished my first month, and I’ve already upgraded to the unlimited membership because I’m completely hooked. If you’ve been hesitant to try Pilates or group fitness classes, I can’t recommend Club Pilates Doylestown enough!
