My approach to therapy is a collaborative approach, us working together to accomplish your goals. I am a serene, non-confrontational clinician. I do not ask “what is wrong with you?” but “what happened to you?” and if you are not sure, well, we will figure that out together. I believe that one of my first responsibilities is to educate my clients about their mental health so that they may understand what it is occurring within themselves. Trying to understand and manage depression, anxiety, bi-polar, personality disorders, OCD, trauma etc. can be very intimidating and frightening. We will work together to identify and manage negative and unhealthy symptoms, so that you may lead a healthy, stable and fulfilling life.
