Diane is an absolutely amazing Care Pro! She is kind, loving and very professional. We also appreciate the entire staff at the Scranton/Clark's Summit location for their courtesy and patience with our family. A special recognition goes to Jessica, the GM, for a very well organized and efficient office. They made life so much better for Mom. Thank you Home instead!

Horrible ! I worked in the field for years with seniors & this by far was the worst experience. Hired company with trusting they would not take advantage of my 90 year old parents & my mom having dementia. Company raised the hourly price with no notification. Supervisor called one afternoon & said the aid had a problem with getting my mom to bed the night before & they would review & see if it was going to continue & if so would need to be put in a different care bracket. Contract signed was for assistance with getting patient to bed before 9:00 with the dementia. Aide texted me after leaving my parents home every evening & stated she never had another issue with my mom. Next invoice for services was increased $10.00 more an hour. Other instances were also done unprofessionally. The administration is very shady

I LOVE dealing with Home Instead AND the office personnel. As a waiver client I require 20hrs daily for my care. However, I have been forced to deal with a second company to fill the 56 hours my Home Instead cannot. (due to a shortage of caregivers.) I feel bad for the ladies who loyally take on 2 and 3 shifts in a day to help H.I. out and wind up not even getting a 2 day break in the week just to be here. How draining this must be on them. I have had to be without any caregiver on several occasions. And try to understand which I too am trying to help out where I can. But I do need someone with me . I wish an incentive could be offered to keep our current women and encourage new ones to join the team. Thank you.💌
Our service minimums are 12 hours/week and 4 hours per shift. We can provide care up to 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Care Pros will be informed if the client needs to have hands-on care during the overnight hours (such as assistance with toileting) or if they are there for safety and security.
How much notice do you need to start service?
Before services can begin, we must conduct a care consultation. After the care consultation is complete, it is a case-by-case basis to determination how quickly we can start. Our goal is to start as soon as possible, but in some situations, it may take one to two weeks.
Are your services covered by long-term care insurance?
Depending on the policy and the long-term care insurance company’s claim eligibility, services may be covered. If you have your long-term care insurance policy available, we can help you determine your eligibility.
Do you require a service deposit?
We require a two-week service deposit prior to the start of services. The deposit is held until the end of services and applied to the final invoice.
Can I change the schedule after starting services?
Yes, changes can be made to the schedule. Please advise the office of scheduling changes with as much notice as possible to help with the accommodation of these changes. We will do our best to accommodate changes as quickly as possible based on staffing availability.
