I am pregnant with my first, and he took the time to talk through concerns that have been brushed off as “just part of pregnancy” elsewhere/with my OB. I left my appointment feeling heard, understood, and confident that we were treating the right thing. He looks at the whole picture and how everything in the body is connected. He is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about his patients, which makes SUCH a huge difference. Last, he gives the simply best adjustments. I’ve seen several chiropractors over the years, and his are BY FAR my favorite. I always leave feeling like I could fly with how much better I feel. If you’re looking for someone who truly listens and takes a whole-body approach to your health, I can’t recommend Dr. Max enough! (especially if you’re expecting!!).

This program is designed for anyone currently under medical care who has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis (IBD), or who experiences chronic IBS, GERD (acid reflux), or dysbiosis (SIBO, SIFO, IMO) symptoms and is ready to address the root causes of gut health rather than simply managing symptoms.
Are labs included?
Advanced microbiome testing and a supplement stipend are included in the program, but most additional lab work carries a separate charge. We can help you access client-exclusive rates through third-party labs or discuss reimbursement options. Maximal Wellness Clinic also provides client-exclusive pricing for IBD/IBS/GERD lab work if you choose.
Is this covered by insurance?
Maximal Wellness Clinic is based in Oregon, and many of our clients are located out-of-state. Because of this, health coaching is generally not covered by insurance. Some lab work may be billable through your insurance provider, depending on your specific coverage.
Can I do this program remotely?
Yes, all sessions can be completed virtually from your home.
Do I need microbiome testing?
Microbiome testing isn't necessary for every client. Many clients choose advanced microbiome testing when previous lab work hasn't identified the underlying causes of their digestive symptoms. Others use the included testing budget for more suitable options based on their specific symptoms, such as breath testing for SIBO or IMO.
