I received great service at Lens Crafters in Washington Square. I walked in with an older pair of Rayban sunglasses that needed the nose pads replaced. The glasses weren't purchased at Lens Crafters. With no waiting, the nose pads were replaced and glasses adjusted all at no charge. Great service!

I have an incredibly difficult pair of glasses to work with, and honestly wasn’t sure much could be done — but Chad was amazing. He went above and beyond to help me, was incredibly patient, and made sure everything was taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people. Highly recommend!

Kelly is the best!!! I've been going back every year for the past 10 years because of her. Great customer service... coming from a retail customer service background it's refreshing to see someone who cares as much as she does. I'll keep going there as long as she's there.

First time stopping by to look at selection. The Tech was very kind, and patient. Was able to find my insurance quickly and the process over all was very efficient.

Terrible communication took them to call me one week when my glasses arrived and were very rude and mean not sure why any one would want to deal with them. I understand it's free to most people as insurance pays for your glasses but still deserve to be treated with minimum respect which is apparently too much to ask for

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
