  Nice and helpful staff and a good selection of reasonably priced frames. I purchase two frames and the process was efficient and easy. They even helped submit a claim with my insurance.

  As a lifelong glasses wearer (since 16 months of age) I was excited to find that my move to Portland brought me within walking distance of Warby Parker. After an exam with a separate optometrist I decided to roll the dice and try their frames out. I truly wish I hadn't. My frames have aged AND in the time since I've purchased them it's been amply clear that quality, durability, and every day wear are not priorities for this brand. Within the first week I had to return to have them tightened. Temples loosen quickly creating pressure behind ears, no supportive springs or structure at any of the temples for any frames, their lenses scratch very quickly even with the extra cost of "anti-scratch" materials, and if your frames break due to poor manufacturing - don't be surprised if you have to pay full price for the replacement. Sure, they look cool and I get many compliments on my frames yet the lack of workmanship in their frames & lenses means I will not be going back again. As an every day wearer - my glasses must be able to stand the test of time and WP simply cannot. Two stars because the humans in there are great otherwise - Warby Parker is a 1 star for me. If cool but chintzy is your thing - definitely go, otherwise - take your dollars where the product will last you.

  The Dr who did my very thorough exam was wonderful. She explained everything in detail, was kind and gentle. Unfortunately, and through no fault of theirs, I had to return the glasses after a couple of weeks. The chap behind the desk was really nice and friendly. He processed my refund in no time at all. A great start and a great finish!

  I’ve purchased exclusively WP glasses for 14 years, since shopping their grand opening in NYC in 2013. For the first time ever, I had a disappointing break in a newish pair of glasses that really seemed like a defective frame. Long story short, I left the store having bought a new frame in a color I didn’t really love, pretty frustrated and pretty sure I was done with Warby Parker. Ten minutes later, the optician called me. They’d taken another look, agreed the break was unusual, and refunded the new frame. I really appreciated them taking a second look and calling me back. $95 might not be a huge amount in the grand scheme of things, but it’s real money to me, and I’m grateful. Apologies to the very nice woman who got the brunt of my disappointment. Anyway, this is why I don’t buy glasses anywhere else. They’ve never let me down.
