  I had a VERY negative experience with Stephanie Schabel. Honestly shocking how dismissive she was from the get. From the very start of our first zoom meeting, she seemed moody and treated me like an inconvenience to her. She was rude and extremely judgmental about the medication regimen I’ve been stable on for nearly a decade. Instead of taking the time to ask meaningful questions about my history, treatment, or what has worked for me, she immediately insisted my medications were “not good” for me and “bad” for my long-term health with little discussion or understanding of my situation. She awkwardly ended our meeting that left me feeling dismissed, unheard, and more than anything JUDGED. Medication management should involve collaboration and respectful communication, and unfortunately that was completely lacking here. If you are a long term ADHD or Anxiety patient who is looking for a new provider, I STRONGLY recommend to avoid Stephanie Schabel specifically.

  I came to mindRX when I was experiencing a mental health crisis and looking for answers. Stephanie Schabel was compassionate, informative, and most of all extremely helpful. She listened to me and helped me find a medication combination that worked for me as well as an IOP program in less than a month. Her availability was very open and she was also willing to email with me if I needed extra support or had questions. I am extremely grateful to her and MindRX and have even recommended her to friends who are having trouble finding someone to manage their medications in Portland.

  My provider is great but they often mess up billing and over charge or double charge and it’s been difficult to reach the billing department to resolve this.

  To no surprise, it seems like there’s been an extreme drop in quality based on these reviews over the last few months, which is exactly my experience with this clinic. My therapist was fantastic, so it’s unfortunate I’ve got to part ways. This company is borderline predatory with its no-show charges. Even worse, I’d say, is the administration. Every phone call is just an unpleasant mess and usually ends up with them redirecting you to another terrible app just to draft another message, which includes prescriptions. You literally tell them what you need, and as long as you have an appointment booked every three weeks, they’ll only then forward your request to your therapist/doctor. I would highly recommend avoiding this place for the time being until these issues are corrected.
