Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Could not pick up my prescriptions today, because the pharmacist was on the phone and my file said I needed a consult. She told me to come back in 30 minutes. When I asked how I could know for the future if I needed a consult with a pharmacist prior to medication pick up, she told me that she didn’t know and that she couldn’t do anything about it. Feeling frustrated that I took time off work and drove over, just to be treated rudely at the pharmacy

i've never left a one star review, but the experience of filling here is horrible. my dog takes seizure meds, and every single time they need to request a new refill from his vet, the process takes ages. i even requested a refill two weeks in advance this time and we've still run out of his life-saving medication with no actual word or action from fred meyer despite frequent check-ins.
it's not a personal failure on any particular employee- generally the folks we talk to are nice and trying to be helpful, but they have lied about sending a fax over, and even somehow managed to completely change the vet on his file to one we've never heard of or been to, sending us on a wild chase trying to figure it out. they've also sent us to a different fred meyer saying they could refill it that day and it will still take days there. it's absolutely egregious what they expect you to be okay with. if my dog has a seizure it's because fred meyer can never refill his prescription in a timely manner and we always run out, even rationing his meds out at half his required dosage! i've never been so angry in my life! we've been coming here for years and years refilling the same prescription and only in the past year or so has it been so awful that i'm passionate enough to write this.

Atsuko and Brynn are absolute angels. They’re sweet, personable and professional. Everyone else that works at this pharmacy is either incompetent or EXTREMELY rude. They’re is one woman in particular who works there (I forget what her name tag says, she is also short with dark hair but is NOT Atsuko). This woman is one of the rudest, most unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered in customer service. Just yesterday she snapped and raised her voice at me for explaining what I needed to pick up because she couldn’t find the scripts… She re entered my info and said “oops, I messed up, I see it” with no apology. But everytime I’ve interacted with her it’s the same attitude or worse. It’s a noisy store, and if she can’t hear you over background noise she’s like “WHAT!? 😡 I can’t hear you! 😒”. It’s actually unhinged behavior…
The lines are long, they’re always behind and it’s generally unpleasant, but I’ve tolerated that over a decade because of the convenient location. But I draw the line at the rudeness and finally may have the motivation to move my scripts. Regardless, I sincerely hope that snarky woman gets fired.
