Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

They often don't fill prescriptions unless you call them and ask them to fill it even though your Dr sent it in two days ago you literally have to remind them!!! Out of common meds and the absolute worst thing about this pharmacy is that THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!! ON HOLD FOR EVER!!!! THEN THEY RUSH YOU WHEN THEY FINALLY DO ANSWER!!!! I've been on hold for over 15 minutes I'm hanging up now. And this is far from the first time being on hold this long for an important med only to give up.

I've used this pharmacy for over a decade. I've tried to be understanding but I've now had several unsavory and frustrating situations due to Raleigh Hills Fred Meyer Pharmacy. My prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to be, even when the dumb ai chat bot says they're ready. I've had to go without my maintenance inhaler for days multiple times due to miscommunication from the pharmacists. Today I called to check on the status of my anti-anxiety meds, which my doctor sent in 2+ weeks ago and I was told they are still not ready; along with my steroid inhailer that was supposed to be ready at 2:00PM today, both of which I now cannot get until tomorrow. Save yourself the trouble and go literally anywhere else.

These people don't belong in pharmacy health care they change how your Dr prescribes medication and tell you it's not available when it is and it shows right on your profile. They don't want to give it to you even after the doctor tells them too or they won't fill it on time or they are always trying to make you pay out of pocket and if that doesn't work to their advantage they simply won't give it to you. Very unprofessional and dishonest. Not good business when they treat customers like dirt and act like the customers are crazy. Someone needs to be reporting this pharmacy. They don't even have a higher up person to speak too or to report staffafter multiple problems. Very unsafe place stay away for your own wellbeing. And as far as your maintenance pain meds it's a constant battle and forget if you have surgery and need break through meds from your doctor they go out of their way to keep you from getting it .

This genuinely may be the most poorly run pharmacy I've ever been to ALWAYS CALL AHEAD TO MAKE SURE YOUR PRESCRIPTION IS READY. Even if they said it would be done at a specific time. Even if you get a text saying it's ready. CALL BEFORE GOING IN. Their word means nothing. I've been told one thing, gotten a text saying the same thing, then showed up only to be told it wouldn't be ready for several days

I had my provider accidentally send my prescription to the other Beaverton Hillsdale Fred Meyer instead of this one in Raleigh hills. When I came to pick up my prescription here since it was ready, they said that they can cancel that one and fill it at this location and I can come back the next day. The next day comes and I called Raleigh hills to see if it’s ready, the lady that answers the phone tells me the same thing where it’s at the other location. I simply tell her that it was supposed to be canceled there and filled at this correct location and I already spoke about it the day prior with someone else. She just says “no you didn’t. They did not say that”. What’s the point of that statement? I work in healthcare and what this pharmacist/technician said to me is just unheard of attitude in healthcare, unless this is normal here at this pharmacy? Very unusual and unprofessional. The provider incorrectly sent it to the wrong Fred Meyer, and the pharmacist/ technician last night obviously forgot to do what she told me she would do- so I’m not sure how any of that is my fault, and how this comment was deemed necessary. I try to speak very clearly and be kind to everyone and it’s just very unfortunate when unhappy and miserable people take it out on other others around them. Hope she gets the help she needs.
