Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

One of the employees, Tristan, is unprofessional and too comfortable with patients. Made me feel weird with his "compliments" too many times, I now ask to be helped by someone else because he's just kind of a creep.

i can’t imagine hating anyone as much as fred meyer hates its customers. to remove the handles from the paper bags, to provide self checkout but be so paranoid of theft the checkout machines beep and alert a manager if something is scanned too quickly/slowly, to have a security guard “sign” the receipts quickly and lackadaisically for people UNLESS they look poor or homeless. a parking lot LITTERED with flock cameras. not to mention, they allow hecklers from at&t, or whatever new service is paying to occupy space in the store, to roam their aisles and harass you while you’re shopping. all of it is truly grotesque, i imagine the founder is rolling in his grave. today i scanned my groceries and left candles in the cart, as i was going to use my work card to buy it after i finished scanning my personal groceries. the entire time i was scanning, an employee was hawkishly standing over my self check-out and watching my every move, undoubtedly just doing what their vampiric managers tell them to do. when you come to fred meyer you are automatically treated as a potential felon, it’s wild. i’m just tired of being treated like a criminal or cattle when im trying to buy 2 days of groceries for $100 in this dystopian hellscape.

My doctor sent a new prescription to this pharmacy, but when I went to refill it, they had no record of the new script and wouldn't let me refill. I tried to call several times and left a voicemail, no one ever got back to me. My doctor confirmed yesterday that the new prescription was sent, the pharmacy just screwed up. I have been suffering for a week now without my medication. Not the first time I've been disappointed by this place, and I'll be transferring elsewhere.

The one star is for the grey haired Asian woman who works behind the counter. No one is in line and I walk up and give her my info. From then on she acts like I’m a second class citizen. When I ask for a receipt she acts like she’s overworked. Kroger has to send her back to customer service and communication class because the first time didn’t take.

This pharmacy can never find your prescription. My doctor sent it in via fax and phone 5 times. You can expect to have to call at 4 different times of day to get someone on the phone here. I don’t know what their issue is but this pharmacy can’t seem to do its job. I’m moving my prescriptions to another store entirely. Don’t waste your time here.
