Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

My S.O. just got out of the hospital & we raced to get here before closing. His prescription was not ready but he was not supposed to miss a day taking it & we got there with 5 minutes to spare.... The technician & pharmacist were willing to get everything prepared & even helped someone after us which was a nice change of pace. Made us feel cared for. Thank you!!! 😁

I started using this pharmacy because they have a pickup window OUTSIDE the building, with designated pharmacy parking. But now it's ALWAYS closed and the line inside the pharmacy is a freaking test of patience. It usually takes 1-2 hours to get "waiting in store" prescriptions filled, and their hours of operation have shrunken. They also recently discontinued keeping prescriptions on file, further reducing the convenience factor. Their prices, however, beat Walgreens by a mile, and often beat or match Rite Aid and even Costco. They have remaining one single convenience: a separate prescription drop-off window, but even that's of very limited value because who has paper prescriptions anymore, really? And what does it matter of you have to wait for hours to get it filled? Just my opinion. If you value convenience in a pharmacy, this is DEFINITELY not your place. If you have several hours to spare and don't mind waiting in loooong lines in order to save money, this should be your pick.

I'm getting really tired of the same lame excuses that you give for not only horrible customer service but blatant disregard for the patients that come here and need life saving medications. I have been flat out lied to on multiple occasions because the staff here find that easier then admitting that they can't meet the needs of their patients!!! Telling me that you are short staffed then not hiring anyone is just flay out an irresponsible way to run your business. You may not be a Dr but you are the ones that people rely of for their medication so you should hold yourself to a higher standard then your grocery store. I'm finding a new pharmacy where I can not only be treated with the level of respect that I deserve as a human but I can get our medication on time so we don't die from not having it. You should be ashamed of yourselves and the disservice you have given this community!!!

Last and final time coming here. I get it, I work in a hospital. And Covid has caused issues for all. But this place is not worth the wait. I see the staff are unhappy, over worked and probably underpaid. Where is the leadership? Long lines. Long wait times. For simple prescriptions as well. It's been like this for a long while now.. maybe even more so starting this year. I'll be switching and either going to Safeway or Rite Aid now.
