- SFSamantha FloresJul 27, 20262.0I visited Eyemart Express in Medford for the first time this past Saturday after calling ahead to ask if I needed an appointment. I was told I could simply walk in and someone would assist me. When I arrived, there were two employees working. I completely understand that they were busy, but I waited for about 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me or explaining that I needed to check in. During that time, I noticed other customers who came in after me were greeted, while I still hadn’t been acknowledged. I eventually told my significant other that we should leave because it felt like I had been forgotten. It wasn’t until I mentioned that no one had helped me that one of the employees asked for my name to check me in. By that point, I had already decided I was no longer interested. I had actually found several designer frames that I really liked and was prepared to purchase them, but the lack of communication and customer service changed my mind. A simple greeting and a quick “We’ll be with you shortly” or “Can I get your name to check you in?” would have made all the difference. I hope they improve the experience for future first-time customers.
