  The waiting lobby was small and crowded but my hygienist Emma was amazing! I hope I get her again next time.

  Today was my first dentist visit in a decade, due to trauma. Denise and everyone there made me feel so safe, and seen! Thank you all again.

  We have been members of Shoreview dental for 15 plus years. They have always been wonderful, efficient, knowledgeable and very open and honest.

  First off, I'm actually very surprised there's positive reviews. The negative reviews are consistent in what I have dealt with. Lemme mention that the in person experience with a dentist and the assistants are good experiences. Good bedside manners. I've given this office MANY chances and given it so much of my time (well over a year). My insurance assigned me to this office and upon first appearance it's clean, beautiful locations and presents itself as "upper class". Beneath that it's rotten to the core. I began at this office with a male dentist. Saw him 1 time and honestly was very relieved because I liked him quite a bit. He recommended surgery. After the many steps of going through a mouth surgery (it took a few months of dealing with that step), I called to make another appointment to address the other issues (with my teeth) with that same male dentist. I was scheduled with a female provider, which I was confused about but was told "she's new". 7 month out!!! 🫪🤯 here is where it starts to go downhill (besides 7 months out for an appt.). They can put you on a cancelation list. You get a text that says a appt is available. The absolute ridiculousness of it is IT DOES NOT MATTER how fast you reply (I replied in 1 second a few times) the slot is somehow already taken, EVERY SINGLE TIME. After dealing with that for 4 months you start to feel less like a patient and more like cattle, and like your dental issues don't matter to them. Let me mention before I go on, the more veteran receptionist (usually on the left side) is very snippty, rude, and shovey. When you arrive for an appt you don't even know which door to enter. You randomly pick one and usually get redirected to the other side...it gets old QUICK. I meet the female dentist...turns out the male dentist I had previously seen retired. Why was I not notified ahead of time?!?!?! Retirement is planned for a long time. Not sending a letter out to the patients of that dentist is poor management! That visit with the female dentist was good and she took care of a bothersome cavity. A week later that filling area still hurt. I called about it, "that can be normal"...hmm sure. It's been a whole month now and the pain is severe, my lymph nodes in my neck are swollen and painful. They had me scheduled for July. I'm no expert but seem like a dental emergency. I get a text from Shoreline a few days ago, "we need to reschedule your July appt". You gotta be KIDDING me. I fully believe this office has a management issue. Whoever is running the show in the background is failing miserably!!! The dentists and assistants seem to just be flowing with the mismanagement so not their fault. A little over a year of being a patient shouldn't be filled with this many issues and your patients shouldn't feel like warm bodies that should shut up about any issues and just be a slave to the mismanagement. The needing to reschedule my July appointment was the last straw! Let me not forget that appts. that are months out are OFTEN rescheduled, chronically, actually. I'm now going to drive over an hour to see a dentist that said my issue is absolutely an emergency.
