- VSVicki ScheckSep 23, 20262.0Great inventory. I'd been wearing cheaters since my cataract surgery 3 years ago because I hadn't found any frames I loved. That changed when I went into LensCrafters recently. Also good: April was a joy to work with. She remembered our names and career a week later and took good care of us in ordering of our glasses. However, when my new glasses came in, they were TERRIBLE! I couldn't read anything! April checked the prescription and found that LensCrafters had pulled a prescription from years ago--from before my cataract surgery of 3 years ago, so the prescription in my new glasses was for nearsightedness, whereas I am now farsighted since the surgery! That should clue you in as to how very bad they were! They're in the process of remaking them, but because that happened, I won't have my beautiful Prada glasses for our vacation and will have to keep wearing my $25 cheaters. The main concern, though, is how many people got the wrong prescription and just didn't realize why their vision with their new glasses wasn't as good as hoped for?
