  One of the most professional and efficient medical teams I have ever been involved with. Made me feel comfortable and valuable throughout the entire experience. Explained everything and gave more than adequate time to ask questions and have them answered. It was a difficult time for me yet the entire team along with Dr Palani Made the experience enjoyable. I felt comfortable and safe.

  Absolutely an amazing experience! I have had bone on bone in my knee since the surgery in 1970 and have been living with the resulting pain for decades. I was referred to Dr Palani and Mara Vascular and Interventional Radiology group for an evaluation on my knee by another physician . Dr Palani sat down and throughly explained the procedure and what to expect should I elect to have it and answered every and all questions I had. After thinking about it and researching what I could find out about the procedure I decided to give it a try. Best medical decision I ever made in my life! Dr Palani’s team scheduled me and assisted in everything that was needed to make it happen with the insurance company , the necessary lab work and X rays so he could determine if I was a good candidate or not. The team is very thorough, professional and friendly. When I showed up early in the morning, they welcomed me and prepared me for the procedure. I arrived at 6:30am and was on my way home at 1030 am. After the procedure I have had no pain nor taken any pain medication at all. l have been able to walk and sleep with no knee pain whatsoever! I would highly recommend Dr Palani , his team and the procedure to anyone without any hesitation.

  I have now had the new Embolization procedure with Dr. Palani three times on my plantar fasciitis and bilateral hip bursitis. I’m pain free in all three areas! It’s the best procedure I’ve ever done for pain relief. I’ve tried steroid injections and cortisone injections in the past and nothing helped, but this did. It’s pretty much pain free to go through and your back up and at it the next day. I highly recommend doing this if you are having chronic pain, it really works! Go see Dr. Palani at the Mara Vascular Clinic.

  I had Genicular Artery Embolization on my left knee on July 30, 2024 and on my right knee on August 13, 2024. I waited a little while before I reported on what I can only describe as a true medical procedure that works. Before I had major inflammation and arthritis which made me a great meteorologist but came with almost unbearable pain. After the procedure I received approximately 70-75% relief from the pain. Unfortunately my knees are bone on bone so I can tell you how many and where the tears are in my knees. The Embolization only lasts up to one year and I have had ablation that only lasted a few weeks so far there have been no problems. I am very pleased with Dr. Palaniappun and the staff at MARA Vascular and Interventional Radiology OKC and give them the utmost praise for the great work they do everyday.

  I'm giving a five star because Dr. Palaniappun and his wonderful staff saved my knees. I have been to other orthopedics and none of them were able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my knees. I'm so glad I met with the Mara Vascular team and Dr. Palaniappun who performed the GAE surgery on my knees. My pain, numbness, tingling, inability to go up and down the stairs went from a 10 to a 2 and I know soon it'll be a zero scale since I just had this done. I'll highly recommend anyone having this symptoms to visit the Mara Vascular clinic. Best 2023 decision I made for myself and the great thing is zero scars on me.
