- TTTim TroxellFeb 3, 20265.0I don't normally write reviews but today made me change my mind. A few years ago I had treatment from a different provider and it was a horrible experience. Not the case this time. A great atmosphere that started with reception, then the same personal treatment with assistant Mandy. (Great young lady) Dr. Hirshburg took it to the next level. Kept me informed with every step of the process and made me feel like I was his most important patient. I'm very glad I was given this referal, he's a fantastic doctor. I hope you never need MOHS surgery but if you do you'll not find a better surgeon nor staff than the team that took great care of me today. These folks are 5 star worthy all the way.

After 4 or so appointments with him lasting only around 15 minutes, it's hard to say for me yet just how good he is. He seems to be a nice guy. What frustrates me the most? Having to deal with the entire medical system out at O.U. It's a nightmare. I have many diseases, the one he and my Vascular specialist at O.U. are both treating affects my lower legs and skin. All I'm given is ONE prescription for some cream I apply to my legs twice a day. Should it take 3 or more days to stick a hunk of paper into a FAX machine and zap it back to the pharmacy to get if refilled. Most definitely not. Several years ago I was stuck in the "system" at O.U. for 8 years. You can't even begin to imagine what a patient goes through with anyone out there. It should not be that way. This is something I'll be taking up with him on my next appointment. Even though there are several "procedures" that can be tried to reverse/stop what is going on, neither he nor my Vascular doctor have ever discussed these options with me.
