Growing up, I played a lot of sports, got injured and needed rehabilitation. I really fell in love with sports medicine and the whole orthopedic process. Getting beyond injury and back to what I loved inspired me to help people get past pain and back to the activities that they really enjoy. I chose sports medicine and orthopedics because it's an easy way to see a difference. You change their lives. You take people who are in pain, you help get them through a very difficult time in their life and you see them returning to what they love without pain. It's very rewarding.
