To start off, my exam experience with my provider was good. Though before the provider part of the visit, there was test that they tried to have me pay additional out of pocket costs for, when I declined they still provided the test and stated that the additional fee was only to save the test results, not to provide the test. The attempt to charge additional money if not necessary wasn't appreciated, though understood from a business perspective. This exam was about a year ago, and did not upset me enough to write a review on it, but now that I am reviewing I feel it's important to include. What sparked this review is the extremely condescending and slightly rude Customer Service provided by Wahleed this morning. I requested my previous prescription not knowing exactly when my last exam was, stating potentially a couple of years back. Before any checking, Wahleed said he can not give me my prescription if it's expired. That is blatant withholding of my personal health information and I have a hard time believing that I am incapable of receiving expired information regardless of timeframe as it is my information that I should have access to. When checking and noticing that my prescription was still valid, he asked me if I was looking for glasses. When politely repeating that I am just calling for my prescription, he laughed at me and stated that he would send me the numbers through email immediately after our call, with a rude tone. I patiently awaited the email, and 4 hours later it was not received. I had to call a second time and request the same information again, this time from a kind young lady at reception. The interaction with Wahleed left such an unfortunate feeling that I will not be returning to this location for my eyecare.

There’s a specific lady in this place. Every single time I have an eye exam and pick out frames, she’s always going I have to pay out of pocket for a certain item on my frames. Yesterday was the last damning straw. Eventually, someone else did their job and insurance covered the entire cost. I am growing increasingly frustrated by intimidation of out of pocket cost grief ruining my appointment and giving me anxiety. She needs to do her job better and stop disrespecting customers with anxiety of half truths. One more thing, I found out the hard way my glasses from last year are too strong and was causing a lot of the issues I was dealing with. Whoever was the examiner last year didn’t properly examined my eyes correctly.

From the first time I met both Cassandra and Walid I was impressed with the customer service, answer a questions and overall experience . Then I walked in to see Dr Shepherd who went above and beyond answering questions for me . As I get older my eyes are changing and then with allergies my eyes are dry and itchy. Glad to know I'm not the only person that this happens to and he reassured me that everything looks great. I guess I always thought that Pearle Vision was more for the elite crowd from an experience I had several decades ago at another location, but I'm happy to post that I was wrong and it's for the everyday person such as myself . Customer service is extremely important to me and I'm glad that they gave me and lived up to every expectation I had

I am 81 years old, and about 4 years ago had cataract surgery and left eyesight correction surgery. The surgery corrected my eyesight, so I neglected yearly eye checkups. My new primary doctor said I need to have annual eye exams, so here I am at Pearl Vision, my favorite for eye health care. Everyone at Pearl Vision was and is now very polite. It is a busy eye care facility, but from reception, eye tests, doctor's consultation, glass frames selection and lense fitting I felt as though the focus was only on me. Pearl Vision's eye exams are thorough. The lady assistant that did the eye tests made sure my eyes were positioned correctly for each test. Dr. Shepherd explained the test results with me. He said, over time my high blood pressure has had a negative effect on my eyesight. I did not think blood pressure could affect eyesight. Dr. Shepherd prescribed that I will have to start wearing bifocals again, which I don't mind. I brought my last beautiful frames I had purchased at Pearl Vision a few years ago, so I'll just need new lenses. The gentleman who fitted me for the lenses was very precise with the lense fitting. He said he remembered me from the time I was there a few years ago! I am very satisfied with my eye health care at Pearl Vision and recommend them for everyone needing vision eye care.
