- SDSandy DApr 21, 20261.0The managing pharmacist Stephanie (Stevi) Van Houten thinks she has a right to question patients about what medical issue they have to justify why they were prescribed medication at the ER and takes it upon herself to cancel prescriptions at her discretion..the store manager has no power or control over her...and told us that she has had other issues with canceling prescriptions and professionalism..1800 Kroger doesn't deal with pharmacy issues..and the store manger says she cant tell anyone her boss' name..she denied medication and canceled a needed prescription for my daughter from Miami Valley South ER from a 4/19/26 visit..it was put on hold intil she could speak to my daughter..she questioned my daughter extensively about her medical conditions on the phone on 4/20 then refused it..this led to a second ER trip that night where the medication was resent..THOUSANDS of dollars in insurance money wasted because this chick has a ego problem..12 tablets..12 is going to cost them thousands in revenue because my daughter is taking her other 16 prescriptions and I'm taking my 8 prescriptions across the street to Walgreens..I have filed a complaint with the state board of pharmacy..STAY AWAY..Kroger should be ashamed of themselves for protecting this lady
