If I could give a zero I would. I scheduled an appointment a week or 2 out. Got my appointment scheduled for a Friday then as I was literally walking out my door not even an hour before my long awaited appointment they called to inform me that they were closing the store. The lady said she could reschedule me for Sunday which I assumed it was for the Sunday of the same week she never clarified the actual date. I show up for my appointment and the were closed. OK so maybe it was my mistake thinking it was the Sunday in the same week. Come to find out it was for the following Sunday. Then I got the text to confirm my Sunday appointment, I confirmed it. Then I get a call stating that my Sunday appointment was canceled and needed to reschedule for a third time. The lady never said as to why buy now I'm it's very irritated and quite upset with the lens crafters in Heath, Ohio. I asked for a different location so I can get scheduled elsewhere. The lady apologized and informed me that the doctor had passed away. I'm truly sorry, if that is the case. But if somebody were to let me know about what was going on or offered me to schedule at a different location I wouldn't be going through this Unnecessary stress or be so upset with the situation of waiting for weeks and having my appointment canceled and rescheduled multiple times. And why would they reschedule if they no longer have a doctor at that location? That makes no sense to me.
I should have a little more compassion but with the situation that was presented to me it's hard to do that.
With walmart eye center, I had a way better experience. I have to go with lens crafters because that's who was in network with my insurance. I will definitely go elsewhere and pay out a pocket. Then, to have another experience like this with lenscrafters.

I went to Dr. Rosengarten with decreasing vision, 100% certain it was caused by recurrence of a prior condition. He performed his customary thorough exam, and informed me that my vision issue was caused by scarring from previous cataract surgery. His staff made an appointment with Bloomberg Eye Center. I have had corrective surgery on both eyes, and have regained my baseline good vision. The initial surgery on the most affected eye was life altering. I can see road signs clearly, reading is significantly easier. I am so appreciative of Dr. Rosengarten’s expertise and guidance to restoring my normally good vision! Thank you, Sir !!!

Do yourself a favor stay away from these scammers

The Heath store is top notch! Their manager Jennifer helped me solve e a problem that occurred at the Reynoldsburg location. She was cordial, friendly, and courteous. I’ll definitely go to that store for my future eyeglass purchases.

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
