  I was in yesterday 5/12/26 and went to the Dental Clinic, for x-rays and cleaning. I had the best Dental Hygienist I have ever had. She went above and beyond, because I was having some anxiety over severe gingivitis although I am doing everything I can possible to prevent it, it just keeps getting worse unfortunately. She was saying it can be due to genetic factors. She told me a good toothpaste to use and gave me a few small tubes as well as some samples of Peroxide to help with Bacteria under the gums into the roots. She took a lot of time for me which I deeply appreciate. I wish I could remember her name. She said she was going to Oxford Dental Clinic there. I think she said Johnnie? I told her I wanted to give her a great review. I'm so sorry if I spelled it wrong. I feel she should get an espresso, lunch or a gift card because she was truly amazing. The only thing that concerned me was she was saying "here comes Dr. Emming". But he never came or would ignore or pass right by us. This happened several times. He did not have the best bedside manner when he finally did come in. I could tell she was getting anxious because she had other patients to see. All he did when he came in was open my mouth. That's it. Normally Dentist's will look into your mouth thoroughly with some metal pick. He didn't even say "hi", or introduce himself. I think I will ask for a different Dentist next time. Also I have been coming to this Dental clinic since it was a mobile van back in 2013 and no one ever told me I could come in for two cleanings a year instead of only one. Maybe it would have helped with the gingivitis. I'm not sure. But no one told me. Please thank this amazing Hygienist. My real name is Tammi Davidson. I just go by Eliana. I also have been seeing Heather Shuster for a long time and think she rocks! She is always very thorough because I have a lot of health issues right now. Thank you for your time.

  the only reason this review is getting 2 stars is for the staff in the dentist office, they were very nice as well as the dental hygienist girls unlike Michael Emming DDS. It was the 2nd worst dental experience I ever had at this location (the first being over 10 years ago) but it was enough to make me never come back again & the other reviews on him just confirm it. First off, I’m an adult over the age of 21 w/ over 15yrs of records here & paying out of pocket/insurance but Michael chooses to ignore my chart/insurance/medical history before even talking to me. I came with my mother which was a mistake because he ignored anything serious I had to say & just spoke to her even when she was trying to tell him we don’t even live together! He was extremely unprofessional in the way he spoke to me (literally yelled & told me to stop looking at my mother) especially when I had asked about the option of an implant, he said their office doesn’t do them & insurance doesn’t cover it unless “you have a high paying job” then you could get one. He assumed I was unemployed & my entire life situation without reading any of the paperwork or even asking me about it!! I felt so uncomfortable, belittled & disgusted which is never okay at a DENTIST office. He has no type of empathy or beside manner, if you drink soda, have depressive episodes causing lack of oral hygiene, recovering addict or need dentures DO NOT SEE MICHAEL EMMING. after reading Ohio living’s review from a year ago it’s clear that he has not changed at all in the way he treats women especially & that was my exact dental situation as well!! always get a second opinion with him because he clearly does not care about his patients at all

  UPDATE: (Sept 30, 2024) I used to give them 4 stars. Recently everything is slipping terribly. Trying to get an appointment over the phone is impossible. Have to get to one of their offices to make an appointment directly and they pretend their offices don’t have a straight phone line and they never have schedule calendar more than 3-4 weeks out. It’s been terrible since end of Covid when they have to play catch up. It’s now Sept 2024, for gods sake. Dental: go to answer is visit us in three weeks, no appointments right now we are booked solid. Three weeks later same answer. Vision: no appointments Annuals: have to show up at the 2nd street in Hamilton location to make one…. If available. No one answers the appointment line, ever. No direct phone line to the offices. OLD: Everything centralized in one place: dentistry, pediatric services, pharmacy & WIC services all at the same location in a brand spanking new facilities. Staff has always been top rate. Very polite and helpful. Then why only 4 stars? They lost one star ⭐️ for not enforcing the face mask law. This is mid October 2020 when there are 215,000+ Americans dead and over 7.84 million contracted the virus. Hamilton County has the third highest contractions and death rate in the entire state! Staff see them but were either afraid of or not trained to engage clients. I have my 5 months old with me and have to cover him up the whole time to reduce his inhaling the same air we have to share with this family who have multiple appointments all the same day.

  Was feeling incredibly down and suffering from panic attacks. Their nurse practitioner prescribed me zoloft and it caused such negative side effects. I called 2 consecutive days trying to talk to someone and never received a call back. I ultimately ended up in the emergency room and spent 3 days in the hospital. This place is the worst.
