Very poor experience. LensCrafters started my exam, had me waiting to see the doctor, and then told me they were closing early and could not finish my appointment. That should have been communicated before I sat there wasting my time. It is completely unprofessional to begin an appointment, leave a customer waiting, and then send them away because the office decided to close early. My time was not respected, and I left without the service I came in for. I would not recommend this location based on how poorly this was handled.

I would give five stars, however Lenscrafters no longer offers same day glasses. They have closed all of their store labs and you now have to wait for them to be made and shipped to the store location, which is an inconvenience, especially if you want to keep your current frames. The staff at the Fairlawn/Summit mall location are amazing, they really helped me select the best frame and were fun to work with.

Kellie was a fantastic help in getting me my new glasses! I ended up getting one pair in transitions and with regular lenses. The entire team was incredibly helpful and kind. I definitely recommend this location!!!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
