  What a pleasantly delightful eye exam experience from start to finish. I am thankful for the professionalism and personal experience I received from the entire staff. Dr Mendoza was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I really appreciated him answering ALL of my questions, explaining my unique situation. Understanding the context of the concerns regarding my eye health and family history. One of the things that stood out to me, the most was how I felt seen and heard and acknowledged. He shared additional insights into advancements in the field, current tests and hidden traps and future advancements in eye care. He didn’t have to take the extra time to build rapport after the exam was complete, but he did and that was really cool. And finally, he didn’t force any unnecessary expenses even when I inquired about eye drops for nearsightedness, he was completely honest and said based on the evidence of the exam your presentation this would be a waste of money and I really appreciate that I didn’t have that hard up Cell get these glasses get these contacts nope he basically said he understands appreciates it and doesn’t feel that the benefits outweigh the cost. I was gob smacked. I’m used to having the high pressure up sell. I have a slight astigmatism. I expected to Spend hundreds to get glasses with all of these extra features and functions. I was surprised when he said my astigmatism falls below what contacts can correct and how he explained the other factors that indicated glasses aren’t needed. He did say, if I spent a significant amount of time on the computer that it might be worth investing in a pair of glasses, but at this point in time, it really isn’t necessary because my eyes are adapting and adjusting just fine even though I am “that age“ I was completely impressed with the personality and integrity of this team!
