  Edit to add: I have since seen a new doctor and new exam. The positive number is correct, however if they would have explained to me why it's positive instead of negative instead of just telling me it's correct, this could have all been avoided. They need to communicate better. Also the prescription they had me at was too strong. I still stand by my one star review for lack of education in communication so that I understand the whys and for having the wrong prescription. I have been taking my family here for years. My vision in my left eye far away has gotten drastically bad from being perfect. They did my exam and prescribed me glasses. I recieved them and realized looking far away still was blurry, if not worse. I went in and had them checked. They checked out fine, but that's when I learned my prescription was a +2.25.....the positive is for those who can't see up close. I needed it to be negative. I called once and asked them about this. They insisted I was wrong and the prescription was correct and I only needed to get use to them. I found driving with them to be more dangerous than driving without. I called again to make sure they were right, again they insisted the positive prescription was correct. I called a third to speak with Amy Brunswick, the owner, and was told they can only take a message. That they don't let patients talk to her. So I told her to tell her I need a second opinion and my refraction test again and explained all over again the problem with the glasses. They said they would give her the message and call me that evening. No one called me. I found a new fantastic eye doctor who listened to me and is going to take care of it. The next day Brunswick finally called back asking me to come in so that the very same person who checked my eyes before can check them again with my glasses. No thank you I told them. My husband has been complaining about his new glasses since he got them. I won't be beinging my family back here again. No wonder they have horrible reviews.

  I strongly recommend Brunswick eye care. I needed a new prescription for my contact lenses, so I called and the office and they got me in the same day! All around great service from the front desk ladies to Dr. Lacey during my examination they are great people that know how to do their job. 5 stars!
