Immediate Care Center in The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute

You can go to the Immediate Care Center (ICC) if you are an existing cancer patient and experience medical conditions that need care while undergoing diagnosis or treatment. An appointment is required to be seen and you must be in stable condition. A multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses and other health professionals staff the ICC. Services available at the Immediate Care Center include: medical exams, diagnostic testing (CT scan, X-ray, Ultrasound), blood tests and laboratory testing, intravenous (IV) infusions, blood transfusions, intravenous (IV) antibiotic treatments, acute pain management and wound care.
