She would still be alive if this palliative care nurse wasn’t trying to act like she was her physician. She appointed me to a hospice that she was probably working with (Capital City Hospice), please do not let this woman touch your family or friends do not even talk to her (Eni). Do not use this sorry hospice either it's all a money grab, they’re in cahoots together. She talked so badly about the OhioHealth hospice she stated that my mom wouldn't get the care she needed and how great the hospice she had set up for my mom was amazing! They were not great either! They didn’t take care of my mom, they gave her Ativan and methadone together! The nurse with the chicken-hair cut was unsure what to give her. They sucked too and heck no I do not recommend this place either! So this is what she calls great, awesome, and amazing! Yeah right!! My mom passed away on February 21, 2026. Two weeks in the hospital for a simple UTI and Kidney Infection and not even two weeks later she's gone. Everything could have been prevented especially if her meds were not stopped. Nope, I do not recommend this place at all.. I did everything for my mom down to the wound care and dressings. These nurses are D-league..

Capital city hospice is horrible and I do not recommend for anyone to use them. All of the in home nurses are and have been amazing, but their answering service as well as the administrative staff and doctors , the people who sit behind the desks, make decisions and collect a pay check, who are not in the home first hand, yea they all suck!! My mom has stage 4 esophageal cancer that is very progressive and has had an immense increase in her pain getting worse. She is also in the beginning stage of the transition period. She was on morphine tablets 3 times a day with liquid morphine to be used for the breakthrough pain which got her out of the pain with in a matter if minutes, because their job is to provide comfort care and the goal is to keep her pain free so she isnt suffering. Capital city hospice changed her meds and took away what was working, so now she has nothing for when the breakthrough pain works, and it comes and goes at any given time. They also took her off of continuing care and have laid everything on my dad to take care of her on his own. Last night she was in a lot of.pain and he called a nurse to come out. The nurse said that they were not taking any orders for her at this time... Capital city has failed to do their jobs on more than one occasion this has been an ongoing issue. They have failed to provide comfort care as well as continuing care for a dying cancer patient. DO NOT USE THEM!

Overall the care my wife received what's flawless. However, I had an argument with the social worker. She saw to it that I didn't get caretakers monetary compensation through the state that we needed. My wife passed, everything will be okay. I had a little bit of money in savings and that's what savings is for, emergencies. But we could have used the help provided by the state that we were denied by the social worker. But the nurses that helped us were awesome. If I'm ever in the God awful situation where I have to hire hospice again, I would hire this company despite the petulant social worker.
