  Update 3/12/2026 - The company called me back this morning. They owned that the mistake was on their side and apologized. The reason for lack of follow up once they explained it was very understandable. They have done everything to make this right and will be out to do the install this Monday 3/16. Very pleased with the outcome and how this company owned and made this right. I will recommend them in the future. I have been trying to get someone to call me back for over 6 weeks now to install grab bars that have been approved. I was promised that at the end of January someone would reach out to schedule an appointment. Have gotten no response. I have had the case worker reach out and still nothing. I would not recommend at this point and will have to start the whole process all over again to get approval with another installer.

  I came into town and saw the need for a stair lift, but only had a short time to get in done. 101Mobility came in and demoed a few types of lifts and came up with a creative solution to get my timeline met with a customized setup. Installation was quick and efficient. All were so pleasant to work with! Kudos to all on the time.

  In some respects 101 mobility was great and in some respects I am very unhappy. They were good in that they got the ramp set up quickly and fixed it when it came loose from the pavement it was installed in. Financially I feel like they misrepresented things. I was told if I wanted to purchase the ramp outright it would cost $4,000 (!!) or I could rent it for about $300 per month. I was told I could purchase it later but I would be charged for some interest so the price would not be just $4,000 minus what I had paid. 13 months later it is clear I am going to need the ramp for a while so I reached out to them to see what it would cost to buy the ramp. I was told it would be $1,700+ and that the offer was good for only 5 days. I was also told that they don't always even agree to let people buy the ramp after they have rented. Very different story than what I was told a year ago. 43% Interest? Really? Beware the rental option if you ever think you are going to buy the ramp. Really think twice about that. I have had neighbors come to my door and ask where I got the ramp because they needed one. Before I gladly referred 101 Mobility. Now I will tell them it's a good idea if you can buy the ramp outright but when they tell you that you can buy the ramp later if you want for the original price plus some added interest, be aware that they mean 43% interest (which is usury, and illegal), and, according to what they said today, they may not be willing to let you buy out the ramp at all. I understand they are a business, but customers should be able to make the rental vs. purchase option with full disclosure, especially customers in a wheel chair! Very unhappy and very disappointed with what feels like a bait and switch.
