I regret wasting my time here. I regret not walking out mid the class. I regret being nice and not standing up for myself.
Becky is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional instructor. The way she talked to me, like I’m dumbest person alive. She asks permission to touch you, but the way she does it… No. This is a no and I’m never coming back.
The class itself didn’t impress me either and the studio is extremely basic.
I’m genuinely surprised people are willing to come and pay money for THIS.

I’ve enjoyed coming here the last month or so, but I just took a class with Becky, and I’ve never been made to feel so dumb during an exercise class for needing to be taught things. If you let her touch you (I’m glad she asks first now), she handles you very roughly. I felt like raw chicken meat in her kitchen! It was jarring and very distracting from my workout to have her hands on me so forcefully like that. There are respectful ways to talk to and teach beginners which she could learn from. I won’t be taking another one of her classes.

I had an extremely negative experience at this studio. My first class was acceptable, though the instructor didn’t make any effort to welcome a new student.
The second visit, however, was unacceptable. I asked the receptionist for a slightly more challenging class, but I never even got the chance to take it. As soon as I interacted with the instructor—Becky—her attitude toward me was dismissive, unprofessional, and immediately hostile.
She reacted negatively because I had purchased a walk‑in class instead of a membership, and the way she addressed me felt biased and completely inappropriate. She didn’t bother to ask about my previous experience or skill level; she simply assumed I wouldn’t be capable of the class. Her tone was rude from beginning to end.
I ultimately chose to leave because her behavior made it absolutely clear that I was not welcome there. For a business that claims to be open to new clients, this environment was the opposite—unwelcoming, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Becky’s treatment of me is the reason I will not be returning or recommending this place.

I would like to start with writing that I love pilates and I enjoyed the majority of my classes at Club Pilates Kenwood. My 1-star rating is reflective of a conversation that I had with Megan on 12/9/24. I provided my 30-day notice to terminate my membership in November, and per Club Pilates rules, all class credit has to be redeemed by the 11th of each month, or it is forfeited. Earlier on 12/9/24, I received erroneous steroid injections into my neck, which not only made me stiff, but also severely limited my range of motion, thus making my attendance at my 12/11/24 class impossible. I called Club Pilates during the evening on 12/9 to explain my situation, and to ask whether there was any way that they could hold/freeze my membership so that I am not losing money for missing my very last class at the studio. She advised that because the 30-day notice was submitted, there was nothing that they could do, although my missing the class was for a medical reason. Her response adds further reason for my cancelling my membership -- Club Pilates is too expensive ($112 monthly for 4 classes) to be this inflexible. Life happens, we get injured, we move, we become ill, etc., and due to the price point that we pay, there should be more flexibility. Me having a membership at the Kenwood studio should also allow me to take courses, at no additional fee, at the Hyde Park or the West Chester studios. If Planet Fitness can charge $24.99/mo. to permit members to workout across the country, then Club Pilates can permit members to at least workout at different studios within the tristate area. I will never forget that my medically induced incapacity was not reason enough for my membership to be temporarily frozen so that I could take my ONE remaining class. CP, do better!
