Well Doc Mayhew at Connect Hearing and his Phonak hearing aids made them WORK FOR ME! Very personable and professional service and a great product. I can hear like I was 25 (now 72). Even live music is real and vibrant. It took a bit of time to learn how to quickly and correctly put them on, but now I don't want to go without them. I can talk to my grandchildren and hear their tiny voices. One word of caution. They are so transparent you have to be careful to remember when to take them off.

No. We do not charge customers for their initial visit. That includes a complimentary hearing exam and, when available, an in‑home trial of the latest hearing aid technology. Contact us to schedule an appointment.
What should I bring to my appointment?
For first‑time visitors please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), any current hearing aids you use, a list of problem sounds, and an interpreter if needed. We also encourage bringing a family member or friend to help identify hearing situations and support decision making.
Will my insurance plan cover the cost of hearing aids?
Insurance coverage varies by plan. Some plans cover all or part of the cost. Our hearing experts will help contact your insurance company at no charge to verify benefits and explain what is covered for your plan.
What does it mean when it says that 100% of hearing aids are covered?
Most plans have a maximum benefit amount; the percentage is applied to that maximum. Our team will check plan details and explain exactly how any coverage amount is calculated before any purchase.
Will I need my primary care physician to refer me?
It depends on your plan. Many commercial PPO plans don’t require referrals, but some policies—including Medicare—may require a referral for coverage of testing and treatment. We will guide you through obtaining any necessary referrals or documentation.
Does tinnitus mean you will go deaf?
No. Tinnitus itself does not cause hearing loss. Age and preexisting hearing loss can coincide with tinnitus, but tinnitus is not a cause of deafness.

Tinnitus can be temporary for some people and permanent for others. Taking a proactive approach to evaluation and treatment improves outcomes; our hearing experts can recommend and provide appropriate therapies.
Won't hearing aids make tinnitus louder?
No. Hearing aids are often part of tinnitus treatment. Because they amplify external sounds, they can help reduce the perceived intensity of internal tinnitus by restoring natural environmental sound and providing masking features when appropriate.
