Surgeries went well, hospital stays were like a 5 star hotel compared to the others around this area. The nurses and Drs "cared" about me and my treatment, and any and all concerns were addressed. That 2.7 has to be baloney. The place is crazy busy, but still everyone is pleasant and helpful. I tell people that, Southwoods is the place that Drs "can" be Drs and patients feel at home. "Especially" during a surgery stay!!!!

My family doctor sent an emergency referral to this place because of how bad my back is among other issues. Took almost 3 months to get in and I was treated like complete garbage. Insisted that I would have Xanax, weed, blow or whatever in my system. Offered him to take whatever test he wanted me to take to prove I not a druggie like he was insisting I was, but he just said he’s not wasting his time. But what really did it was when he saw that I was born with cerebral palsy he said well that’s either wrong or you don’t have it as bad as you think you do because you’re sitting right in front of me. What kind of doctor treats a patient that way? Unfortunately I have to leave one star to post this, but I really think people should know
- DWDaniel WardellApr 8, 20265.0I started going here after being referred to pain management by St. Elizabeth's neurosurgery. I have stenosis of my central canal and lateral nerves. I completed physical therapy and had 1 injection back in November with complete reduction in pain. Pain started coming back and I was scheduled in a few days and going in for another injection. I was fully informed that the injection may last between 3-6 months and it has been 4 until pain come back and their response was very timely. Thank you very much for your help and care. I would recommend them to anyone, I don't understand these negative reviews because I've had nothing but care and compassion from staff and doctor.
