He took the time to thoroughly examine my eyes and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. Unfortunately, everything beyond the doctor’s care was disappointing. I came in primarily to have my eyes checked and obtain an updated prescription, but I felt pressured by the sales staff to purchase glasses. While I was open to considering a pair, the frame selection was very limited and underwhelming. When comparing prices with other retailers, including LensCrafters, it felt like there were excessive markups and constant attempts to upsell additional products and services. Rather than feeling helped, I felt like I was being pushed into making a purchase. Additionally, the attitude of one of the staff members was unpleasant and unprofessional. She appeared unhappy to be there and was not welcoming, which only added to the negative experience. Dr. Gross was excellent, but based on the customer service, sales pressure, and limited selection, I would not recommend this location.
