Movement Matters LLC is a mobility-focused wellness practice located in Warwick, NY, founded by Nick Clark, ATC, NASM-CPT. We specialize in 1-on-1, 60-minute personalized sessions that target movement limitations through an interconnected systems approach—addressing the root of mobility challenges, not just isolated symptoms.
Using techniques like self-myofascial release, Hypervolt tools by Hyperice, assisted joint stretching, and corrective exercise strategies, we help clients enhance their quality of movement and, in turn, their quality of life.
Movement (truly) Matters!
I am so appreciative of what Nick has been able to do for me in my recovery process. Every time I leave his office I feel better than when I walked in, and have noticeably better flexibility. He seems to know instinctively what my comfort and tolerance level is, and also knows what to focus on to help me improve my mobility and range of motion.
Thank you Nick!

After years of trying and failing to regain pain free movement in my knee, I finally found my answers at Movement Matters.
After a brief description of what brought me in, Nick swiftly assessed a deficit in my movement patterns and began the work right away. The exercises were targeted to address my needs and provided a noticeable difference in my mobility by session end.
I know were I to have scheduling availability to increase my frequency, the issue would have been resolved as swiftly as it were assessed by Nick.
His efficacy and ability to educate you as a patient are incredible and invaluable.
Before you head to the surgeon or pharmacy, see Nick Clark at Movement Matters. He may just have the answers for you.

I started seeing Nick for a shoulder issue several weeks ago, he came highly recommended. I can not say enough great things about his treatments, my shoulder is completely pain free after just a few visits. I love the holistic approach Nick takes, he really factors in overall body movement and does not just concentrate on one area. Thank you Nick!

Nick is a gifted healer and I am so lucky that our paths have crossed. I developed a severely painful frozen shoulder this past fall and it fully limits my arm movements every minute of every day. Then pain wakes me up every night when I toss and turn. It's excruciatingly painful. Horrible. Tried to ice it, heat it, do orthopedist recommended exercises, throw bottles of Advil at it-to no avail. I stumbled upon Nick's website and upon reading his bio and stellar reviews, I instantly felt that he would be part of my healing journey.
Nick's treatments are totally personalized to your issues, pain tolerances and goals. My frozen shoulder really sucks and it is not the kind of thing that gets better quickly. Nick stretches and manipulates my shoulder, arm, back and neck as they are all connected to my problem. I'm not going to lie-my sessions with Nick are sometimes crazy painful. lol. BUT...I know I am making slow and steady progress. I feel marked improvement after 5 sessions. I will begin the next 5 shortly.
Nick listens. Nick researches. Nick really cares. He's smart, intuitive and truly loves what he does.
So grateful to have him so close to home!

I’ve had an excellent experience working with Nick as my physical therapist. From the very beginning, he has been knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in my progress. He takes the time to explain each exercise and makes sure I understand not just what to do, but why it matters, which has made a big difference in my recovery.
Nick is incredibly skilled at tailoring treatments to fit my specific needs, and he consistently adjusts my plan based on how I’m improving. His encouragement and positive attitude make every session something I actually look forward to, even on the tougher days.
What really stands out is how much he cares about his patients. He listens, he’s patient, and he always makes sure I feel comfortable and confident in the process. Thanks to Nick, I’ve seen real and noticeable improvement.
I highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a physical therapist who is not only great at what he does but also truly dedicated to helping his patients succeed.
