The staff was professional, the clinic was clean, and the doctor did a thorough job evaluating my eyes and explaining my prescription changes. I felt well cared for during the actual check-up. My major complaint—and the reason for dropping my rating—is that they refused to provide my Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement on my written prescription. It is deeply disappointing that a major corporate chain chooses to hold this basic measurement hostage unless you purchase frames directly from their store. Consumers should have the right to their complete optical specifications without encountering cagey sales tactics or unnecessary barriers to online options.

I need glasses stat ! I checked with Humana and they gave me a couple names and Dr VP got me in weeks before anyone else could. The day of the appt Bada boom Bada Bing. Checked in,met Dr VP . Eye exam fast, not rushed. Every step and result explained, questions answered. Picking out the frames in the past before lasik always agonizing. So many choices. The Gal who helped me explained the different frames and observed what I was looking at. Made a few suggestions and asked questions about me and my experience with glasses. We narrowed it down to two and she looked at them on me Asked the opinion of another gal in the office and I was able to decide without totally stressing out. It was like they actually cared..They know how important it is that someone feels good about the style of frames as its apart of their appearance. I could not be happier and the entire process was under 1 hour ! I highly recommend them and will never go anywhere else and bonus Its in Tar jea ! ( that's fancy way of saying Target !)
