My eye exam was thorough, my questions were answered thoughtfully and the eye doctor was friendly and pleasant, as was the pre-check exam associate. My experience with the associate who helped me with my choice of frames was extremely helpful and any questions I had were carefully answered. And I was amazed by how well she knew the incredible number of individual frames in the whole store. She was very helpful with my final selection of frames. I've gone to LensCrafters for many years and have always been very satisfied with the results. I look forward to receiving my new pair of glasses,

Never got the exam because you don't accept Medicare, Medicaid or United Healthcare insurance. The client specialist was very thorough and did everything she could to explore different avenues of payment.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients).
